Healthy hair comes down to three things: prevent breakage, repair damage, and promote growth. Here are my essential hair care products from Amazon.

Silk Scrunchies
Standard hair elastics cause a lot of breakage. That’s why I’ve made the switch to silk scrunchies. The silky fabric prevents breakage from friction and the looser hold prevents hair loss from the scalp that tighter hairstyles can cause.
Claw Clips
Claw Clips are another great option for updos without causing breakage. This 8 pack of neutrals is sure to match any outfit.
Satin Pillowcase
Pillowcase fabric can also cause hair breakage from friction when you sleep. After switching to a satin pillowcase I noticed less frizz or bedhead in the morning. This fabric has held up better than the silk pillowcases I’ve tried and is at a much cheaper pricepoint with the same results.
Microfiber Towel
Your hair is in it’s most fragile state when wet. A microfiber towel is more absorbent to dry your hair faster and the softer material isn’t as harsh as a standard bathtowel.
Wet Brush
I’ve always been one to recommend using a pick to brush through your hair as it causes less damage, but the Wet Brush has proven to be a far better option. The bristles easily detangle your hair with minimal shedding.
Headbands
Tighter headbands can contribute to receding hairlines due to hair loss from the scalp. These fabric headbands keep your hair out of your face and have a looser headache free fit.
Foam Curlers
Heat can easily damage your hair, which is why I opt for heat free styling tools. Replace your curling iron routine with this 42 piece foam curler set. It comes with 7 sizes: plenty of a variety to create the curly style you want.
Argan Oil
Moroccan Argan Oil is one of the healthiest oils for your hair. Just add a couple drops to your hands and run it through the ends of your hair to hydrate and reduce frizz.
Olaplex Hair Perfector
Olaplex Number 3 is my favorite from the line as it gives the best results. It repairs the broken bonds in your hair which is especially useful for chemically treated hair damage. Olaplex can be overpriced, but the results of the hair perfector treatment are worth the hype.
Amika Soulfood Mask
The Amika Soulfood Mask is underrated. I leave it in damp hair for just ten minutes in the shower and my hair has never looked this healthy. It creates a smooth shine that doesn’t look weighed down.
Briogeo Conditioning Mask
I like to apply the Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair MegaStrength Mask to damp hair and leave it in overnight. The treatment conditions while adding rice protein to strengthen.
Scalp Massager
Scalp health is so important to not only healthy hair, but also encouraging hair growth. This scalp massager is a great tool to gently massage your scalp when shampooing.
Rosemary Mint Oil
Both Rosemary and Mint have been proven to encourage new hair growth. This Mielle Hair Oil is already balanced and diluted, just massage a few drops into your scalp.
